About Us

Virgin Heart Foundation, (VHF) is Youth and Women led,Non-Governmental Human Right, Peace and sustainable development organization.

VHF works with Local Women Organizations as Clusters; Faith based Organizations (FBOs) Community Stakeholders, Adolescent Girls and Boys, Students and People with Disabilities, including Recognized Right Groups, Human Right Commission and Civil Society Organizations within Nigeria.

We stand for the Vulnerable, Voiceless, Deprived and Survivors of any form of Violence.

VHF also promotes Girl-Child Education, Leadership and Career Development, where Girls can give values to the Society.

 VHF is a vision for Safe Spaces and inhabitable society where human rights are enhanced and respected, irrespective of class, status, tribe and social orientation, with a vision to contributing innovatively to the task of tackling causes of Violence, poverty and exclusion.

 We advocate for the protection of human rights; promote women’s participation in leadership and governance; build institutional capacity, advocate for gender justice, equality and non-discrimination, as well as promoting peace, security and conflict resolution interventions.

VHF is working with International; National and Local implementing partners to promote gender equality, change socio-cultural biases to achieve a reduced Gender Based Violence and safe society for all to live.
