Virgin Heart Foundation creates awareness on “Protection against Trafficking and sexual exploitation”.

The Management of Madre Giovanna Russollilo Group of Schools. Aboh Mbaise LGA invited Virgin Heart Foundation to facilitate a session with their students on life skills and Protection against Trafficking and sexual exploitation.
An engagement that lasted for two(2) hours was packed with knowledge and life skills young people needed to co-exist and protect themselves, awareness to identify likelihood of being in danger of trafficking or being sexually exploited.
Other lessons included Bodily autonomy, sexual reproductive health rights and various laws that protect children and women(VAPP, Prohibition against FGM, Prohibition Against Baby Factory, Child Rights Law and recently, The law that penalizes perpetrators of sexual defilement of minors with life imprisonment without any option for fines.
