CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS STOP FORCEFUL EVICTION OF PLWDS IN IMO STATE.

Onurube, A coalition of Civil Society Organizations of GBV Responders in Imo State , which Virgin Heart Foundation is a member intervened for the community of Persons with Disabilities over threat by government officials to evict them from their temporal residence in Owerri, Imo State.

Onurube Coordinator, Marjorie Ezihe followed up on the matter strategically for this victory.

The government must remain focused in addressing hardship in the state, especially for the community of PLWD whose 70% members are unemployed and with little or no skills.
