Virgin Heart Foundation with support from #actionaidnigeria organized an impactful Town Hall Dialogue meeting on women Participation in security and peace Dialogues and how security exacerbates Violence Against Women and Girls, in Ogbe and Ogbenneisii Autonomous Communities, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. It has become pertinent for Communities to start discussing issues bordering on Security and how best to ensure our communities co_exist peaceful as well as identify mercinaries of conflict and choas within the communities.Such effort would include forming all inclusive and participatory forum, with gender lense. At the community town hall meeting, representatives from The Local Government Council, Traditional Institution, women wing, Men and Youths were consciousness selected to discuss on this issue.Outcomes: Women also form part of Vigilante group in Ogbe/Ogbenneisii Communities.Women are 70% involvement in security and peace dialogue in Ogbe Community .#virginheartfoundation
