INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL-CHILD .

Virgin Heart Foundation with support from #actionaidnigeria marked 2021 International Day of the Girl-Child with Girls of St. Patrick’s Mission School, Ogbe Ahiazu Mbaise LGA. Imo State.

The Theme of the year, “Digital Generation, Our Generation” speaks of the need for girls to have equal access to tech.During our Program with the girls, we teach the Girls to challenge Socio-Cultural Norms using technology.

Unfortunately, 60% of girls and women in rural areas have no access to phone devices.Girls are influencing changes though technology and let no girl be left behind as the world moves from Analogue to Digital phase.
